After reading the other reviews, I have to say that I did not have this problem with the 2 that I have made. I used acrylics, and they came out beautiful

Nice pen, poor mechanism

Made this pen with olive wood and it looked great but the mechanism worked poorly. Got another kit and tried again. Better operation but still not as good as the other 11 pen kits (20+ pens) I have tried.

These kits only work sometimes. After final assembly the twist mechanism only catches a fraction of the time.
