Belongs in the $2.50 Kit Price Range

I found this kit to be of inferior quality for the price, and prefer not to have to apologize for the lack quality for the price, as my reputation depends on consistent quality. Plastic "Snap-cap" closures are not acceptable. An Executive style pen would be a much better choice, for less money, despite a little more length, as has been related to me by my customers. A Polaris style is also better choice in terms of quality. My customers know how to buy quality pens at any price point- and this isn't one of them. Price this pen for the "Bargain bin" where it belongs with other novelty items, and I might consider it. Note: The assembly instruction components do not match up with the actual pen.

Overall, this style makes a very nice pen. It is also a popular style with my customers. The pen features a snap cap which works well. The smaller dimensions of this pen make it easy to transport. This pen is also easy to make and it goes together pretty quickly. The hardest part of making this pen is installing the plastic snap fitting into the cap but if you can find the right size philips screwdriver then it is a lot easier. Also, remember to not use too much glue when installing the black button on the top of the cap or it will ooze out onto the gold plating.
