Great kit, looks sharp!

This is a great kit that really gives your work a high end feel. I like that I can choose to leave the clip off, perfect for highly figured blanks that you don't want to be covered.

I Like this pen. I think for the money it is one of my favorites. I like it a lot more than the executive pen which is about the same price.

I turn this with a really nice African Blackwood blank. It's a real head-turner. I get $15 more for this combination than the other Polaris H/W - wood combinations. I sell out every show.

Polaris Platinum Twist Pen Kit

I really like this pen kit however the quality was inconsistent. Finish was excellent however out of the 15 kits I received, five did not operate as smoothly as the inside of the caps rubbed the outside of the bushings holding the clips.

Shining Example of a Craftsman

This pen was easy to make and assembly was quick. The platinum finish made the pen shine. I have made several of these and it doesn't matter whether you are using wood, buffalo horn or acrylic, the pen will shine and be a delight to make.
