Really nice pen kit with one flaw

I'm a rookie pen maker, and I enjoyed building this kit very much. The kit comes with a spacer that you use to set the depth of part of the mechanism. You have to use the entire length of the spacer to set it right. If you follow the directions that came with the pen, the pen will not come out far enough when you click it. Other than that, the kit is really nice.

Excellent Pen

PROs: Great one piece pen. Good for the new pen turner: One barrel makes it easier to build and assemble, but still big enough for big (well, medium) hands. The click mechanism works well. The finish is very good. CONs: This pen is a little short for properly fitting in a short pocket (it often doesn't touch the bottom of the pocket cause the pen to pull the top of the pocket out of shape). Overall: A favorite - I sell a lot of these.

Nice pen

This pen is nice, but the instructions are horrible on setting the internal parts. The click mechanism goes into the back of the pen very far before it works.

Click click

This is a great looking pen however the click mechanism sounds and feels cheap when using it. I like this pen but would like to see a more solid feel to the mechanism.

Great Kit

Very easy to assemble and I love the single tube design! Using a single tube makes for a quick turning. the person whom this was made for absolutely loved it and has ordered more.

Polaris Click Pen Kit

I really like this kit. The click is a nice feature, and the Rhodium is a very nice finish. I like the Polaris style, I can do various designs with the turning to get a nice result.

The Polaris click pen kit is a great pen to turn - with a single barrel to turn, this makes it a bit easier - the click mechanism is very smooth & writes very smooth (just keep track of all your kit pieces) - very nice in the Rhodium or the Gold - I really enjoy this pen
