I found that by drilling the bass and top where they meet the plastic body 1/16" less they fit much better and work better. This model should also be made available in a 'salt' grinder mechanism. Currently I use a salt grinder mechanism from another craft supply/wood turning supplier and the plastic housing in this kit in order to make the salt grinder. All it takes is a change in the measurements for drilling.
