I am a teacher and I use 2 different of the slimline pro pens every day. One of them I have installed red ink and the other black. I really like a click pen and the mechanism might be noisy as described in another review, but no biggie. Also the standard slimline is too thin for me. Overall a great everyday pen. Glad they finally came out with black and chrome hardware.

I recently purchased two of these kits and I was not terribly impressed with the quality. The kits are both made out of plastic and do not seem reliable. One is very noisy, in that it rattles a lot when being used. I have tried tightening the cap, but this does no good whatsoever. The second kit is problematic in that the tip of the pen only barely protrudes beyond the pen, which makes it very hard to write with, without scratching the paper. Penn State was great though, in that when I called to complain I was given a refund on the kits and even the blanks that were used.
