Classic Brushed Satin Rollerball Pen Kit

After disappointing results with a competitor's screw top model I am happy to say I have found a great pen kit at a reasonable price in the PKPAR10RTS. After turning dozens of slimlines this was my first foray into a more complex pen kit. After digesting the complete directions from the PSI website and experimenting with my first couple of tries I am turning these out in record time. I am still getting used to cutting the Tenon but the LCTEN thin parting tool has helped immensely. Fit and finish is good. Feedback on the brushed satin has been great. The screw threads are smooth and do not 'catch'. The rubber o-rings at the end of the threads give a secure closure. I would recommend a very slight bit of lubrication on the threads to keep them from squeaking. The fact that both tubes just require 10mm bits simplifies blank preparation. I would recommend springing for extra tubes as they are handy to have available.

I like these pens because the top screws on to the both the top and the bottom of the pen. For the price, these kits are a good value.
