TerribleThe nib and ink delivery on this pen is horrible. I used the pen once and that was it. It is plugged beyond belief. I have cleaned and soaked and cleaned and soaked. Nothing will free it. Don't waste your money.

Read the instructions! My son started to turn the blanks for this pen and I stopped him after reviewing the instructions and noticed he had the bushings in the wrong order! Once we had that disaster averted he completed the turning of a box elder dyed in deep blue and made our prettiest pen so far! It writes wonderfully!

NOT WORTH THE EXTRA COST!THERE IS NO DISCERNABLE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE GOLD OLYMPIAN ELITE FOUNTAIN PEN AND THE GOLD/TITANIUM OLYMPIAN ELITE FOUNTAIN PEN EXCEPT THE PRICE. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY!!!

eliteConverters did not fit pens, tube too short by at least a quarter of an inch.

Superb fountain penThese pens have a lot of "presence" and are popular with clients looking for a high-end gift. It is worth using your best blanks on these pens. The contrast between the gold rope and black finish is very attractive and compliments wood with lots of contrast. I had no problems following the instructions and the pens should be well within the capabilities of anyone with a bit of experience on other pen types.

lousy instructionsthe instructions for this pen are terrible, still have not figured it out
