Pen Blank Trimming Set

Too small

it didn't work at all with the larger blanks, and barely with the smaller ones. I bought a regular mitre box which works much better. bench top bandsaw is coming soon to my pen shop.

Not sure why I bought this?

Works OK.... have used it once on an acrylic. Hard to saw but precise. Scroll saw or band saw works easier.

An economical way to cut blanks

If you don't have the space or budget for a power tool to cut your blanks then this is definitely for you. I use it on all my blanks and it works well for acrylic, plastic, corian or wood. I agree that it would be better if the blade were deeper but for most pen blanks it will do the trick!

Very Handy Little Thing

This is a very handy little tool - especially for someone like me who does not have the resources or space for a bandsaw or table saw to accurately cut small things like pen blanks. The fine saw teeth make sawing relatively easy. My only wish is that it were a LITTLE larger with the ability to cut up to 1". But other than that it stores well and is light weight.
