This pen is very well made. The hardware is solid and the fit is very good. I have found this to be one of my best sellers. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a pen that will draw attention at your craft table

Sight Unseen

I have orders for this new pen. "Sight Unseen" is the "order cry". "Make me that Pen" I myself have not even had a chance to see the pen except on the website and in the catalogs and I am on the "wait list" for the orders as I myself want a pen like this to carry around as a "demo" and as personal use and advertizement. Classy pen that catches the eye!

I sell a lot of pens online. This one catches the eye with the Swarovski crystal, gold TN, and Chrome. I recommend it with deep, rich colors of wood such as redwood burl. It's a substantial pen that feels solid in one's hand. The solid clip also gets good feedback rather than the folded metal clips.

Beautiful Pen - Heavy

This is a beautiful Pen, but it's considerably heavier than the Gatsby. Gatsby weighs 1.5 oz and Majestic Squire weighs 2.0 ozs. Majestic Squire is easy to make and looks great.

I tried 2 of these kits and they are attractive however the gold plating on the nib was discolored with dark patches all over it on one of them and the other the brass threaded portion of the mechanism was cracked and splayed out so it would not thread in making is useless. so 2 for 2 not so good.

I recently made 3 of these and showed them to my sister in law. She owns a womens clothing store and wants to display them as a consignment item. Looks stunning made with olive wood. Twist mechanism a bit stiff.
