Seems to be alright. I am just wondering how well it will hold up over time with the pulling out of the ring. Only time will tell. My first impressions of it are good.

I wanted to add a key chain to my inventory but was concerned the spring might be to weak and keys would fall off accidentally. I don't see that being an issue with these. Strong and quality spring and nice components. You will need to spend a few minutes making a tool to hold the key chain when pressed but it is simple. The other thing I like is with a pen you are somewhat limited in design. This gives more options with design if your so inclined. One thing I might look into, the 7mm bushing look small for the ends. Larger might look better. I will definitely buy more of these kits, I really like them!

I made this key chain for my wife but I still use it , it was fun to make with the great instructions I got. You have to try it if you make any key chains at all.
