Mine starting rusting after a couple of uses. Just be careful and make sure you dry it off right away.

Easy to turn between centers. Infinite possibilities for different shapes and colors. Corian (glued up to a sufficient thickness) takes a little more time to turn but works great and should hold up well in kitchen. Be a little careful when gluing in knife blade--you will probably have to clean up some when the glue squishes out. Also, the tang fits very snugly--so much so that you may have to drill hole slightly larger than instructions say. Recently took these to a very small craft show for the first time and they made a hit because the turned handles were larger than store-bought ones and easy to grip.
