mini salt & pepper mills = instruction wrongI love these mini mills!! However, instruction calls for 4 1/4" blank which is too big, Best is from 4" to 4 1/8". Also, the 21/32" drill for the top hole should be a 64th of an inch larger - 43/64" Probably would be better to give instruction in metric as I'm sure metric would have a drill size to fit.

pkgrind5I have made 3 mini salt/pepper mills so far and I am on the wait list for more. Some adjustment is needed for proper thread to knob fit. I adjust with 1 1/2" hole depth. Finished size is less than 4 1/4"

CoolI like how the mill turns out haha no pun intended. Works well and have sold all that I have ordered! Ordering more.

pepper/salt millThe instructions call for 4-1/2 long blank but 4 is better as you can't get knob on at 4-1/2

Instruction and specs do not agreeThe specs call for a 3 3/8" by 2" blank (finished size to be 3 1/4"). The instructions indicate a 4 1/4" by 2" blank. So... which is it? From the previous post 4" is better than the 4 1/4" indicated in the instructions. I'm on the wait list, so I'll post a review after I build one.

blank sizeIf made to the instruction length there is virtually no adjustment for the mill, 4 inch seems to work much better. I am a little concerned about the handle being strong enough for the effort needed to grind peppercorns.
