This kit has the 4 common sizes for pen blanks. The bits are well made, and run straight. I usually drill blanks on the lathe using a Jacob's chuck in the tail stock and a scroll chuck w/Pin jaws for the blank.

I was really surprised when I received these drill bits. They are of excellent quality. Each bit comes in its own container.

These are very well made and "sharp" brad point bits. They drill into and through all types of pen making blanks with speed and accuracy. As with most other bits take time to periodically back up and allow the chips to be ejected. Overall I am very happy with these and will hopefully get many years of use out of them.

Really a great deal. The bits are wonderful to get the whole group instead of one at a time. I would recommend to the beginning turner to build your supplies.
