This bit is wicked sharp. I got a nice slice on my fingertip from trying to knock off the dust like I do on all my other bits! It handles dense tropical hardwoods like butter. It also deso seem to clear dust better than other bits. Not cheap but worth the cost.

Used this for several hardwood pen blanks for fountain pens. The bit penetrates accurately, stays cool when drilling and has not blown a blank yet. I pull out only once to clear shavings and go right back. Leaves a accurate bore and a precise fit for the tube . Remember to roughen the outside of the tube Good product. Recommend 5 STARS.
