The guardian pen is well made and a gets a reaction out of people. Whether it's setting on your desk or in hand.
This pen is not for every one, the people that seem to like it are people with arthritis and people with large hands. Although girls in the office like it at the end of the day when there hands get tired of the small pens. On a 3/4 blank you sure do not waste much wood. So it makes the pen heavy. Nice clicking action and writes very nice.
Cons or things to look out for. *It is not a pocket pen as it will unscrew and parts will be all over. *when putting together there is 3 things to pay attention to. First is to get the plunger and support tube in before top tube assembly. Second when screwing the tip on, You can pull the brass tube away from the coupling. Third there are two springs don't lose them.
Great Pen

Thought it was a little ugly and chubby but once I made it, I have to say it is really nice. Used it for Rattlesnake skin.

These are getting to be harder to find. When you blow a blank for whatever reason, and you destroy the tube along with it, these allow you to salvage the kit. More companies need to take a hint and start supplying replacement parts.

An absolutely fabulous mens pen. Stylish, but big enough for any man.

This pen kit is great for the larger hand of a man. It has great heft and the grips are stellar. Some of my customers are well over 6ft and this pen is not dwarfed in their hands. The Guardian is also wonderful for an arthritic hand. It is an easy to make one tube design.
