If you love the look of our original Guardian pen, but prefer a thinner writing instrument, then the Guardian Jr.Chrome Click Pen Kit is for you! The Guardian Jr. is same diameter as our popular Big Ben Cigar pen (12% thinner then the original Guardian). The single tube design ensures it is easy to make. It's comfortable, easy to hold and a pleasure to write with. Requires a blank 3/4" x 3/4" x 3". Features a premium click mechanism with parker style refill and is pre-assembled for very easy turning and assembly.

The guardian jr. is a great kit. All of the benefits of the full size guardian but in a more manageable size. Highly recommended

Dollar for dollar, you can't beat this pen. I used turquoise and gold tru-stone blank and it turned out incredible. I'm going to order 50 of these, as I know they will be a huge selling item. Men will love the grip and weight. Blank is nice and thick after turning, avoiding any cracks, and adding overall wieght to the pen. Highly reccommended and easy to turn. You can buy Schmidt refills for and even better writing instrument.

While I must admit, it wasn't my first ever, it was my second. The profile you turn leaves a thick wall making it easy since you do not have to turn so thin. I used Truestone material and had great success. I tried a thinner wall pen design and broke the material. It is a nice comfortable pen, works well and is very easy. I did this pen not on a lathe but a drill press.

Easy to make and seems to have a nice mechanism for retractable pens. For those who like a larger pen this will satisfy them. The grip is good and prevents slipping.
