Kit materials were easy to assemble. Details on turning and example shown made it easy to duplicate without a duplicator template. Several of my students have also made the duck call with great success. Now we just need to learn how to call ducks in.

The instructions including the ones for the bushings were simple and easy. The duck call allowed for using a lot of creativity in the shaping. Two suggestions would be: what species of wood to use that might add to the resonance for the call and what finish to use on the inside. You list a penetrating oil for the finish but to new turners that might not tell them enough.

I use these in all my duck calls adding a reed to make it a double reed. It works great. It is worth the money if you cannot turn your own yet , Just focus on turning the Barrel.
