This pen is very easy to make. The magnet is very strong and does not wear out. I loved making this pen, and its fun to use. Makes a great conversation piece or great for someone looking for something different.

This is a great pen that is very easy to turn and assemble. I am glad to see that a fountain pen is available for this model. A fountain pen / roller ball combo makes for a terrific gift. I have gifted this pen to a number of friends and they all really like the magnet feature. I would like to see a ball point and letter opener made available for this style of pen. Of course, the letter opener wouldn't have to be magnet.

The Magnetic Vertex Pen is an easy pen to turn. I've had several compliments on the finished product. The 10.5mm drill bit is too big. A size Z drill bit is a perfect fit for the blanks/barrels.

I recently made 4 of these pens, 2 Chrome, 2 Gun Metal. While the pens look nice, the underlying metal has imperfections not found on other kits in this price range. While the finish was OK, it also was not as good/shiny as other kits in this price range.
