I made the brushed satin kit about a week ago and really like it. I made it with the white with blue swirl acrylic blank and made it a little fat and the click is silent which is a nice touch. I really couldn't find anything wrong with the pen yet but I will be making more of them in the future.

I've turned quite a few Vertex pen kits and the magnetic ones press together without a hitch. But every click kit I have all have the same problems, the cap seems to big for the insert which makes it, the material and finish crack upon pressing. Not so bad it's unusable but definitely not show room quality. And the ink stick itself that come with the kit, it just doesn't fit. not without hacking off about 1/8th of an inch off the plastic end. Other than those two problems not a bad kit for the price but still expected better quality fit and finish from such a great line of kits.
