Easy IkebanaThe Ikebana insert was well made, solid and finished flawlessly. A couple of hours of turning and I had a beautiful gift.

Ikebana InsertSo far I've made two vases using these inserts, and both were well received as gifts. Making these vases is a very easy project, and a great way to use odd blocks of wood. The matte black finish is a good complement to most woods. One vase was turned from spalted maple on centers in an urn shape, leaving a spigot to remount the bottom in a four-jaw chuck so the top could be drilled to accept the insert and finished. The other was turned from mohagany hot-glued on a faceplate, leaving a rebate so the piece could be reversed onto a four-jaw chuck to drill and finish the top. The hole left by a 1-3/4" Forstner bit only needs a little fine turning by hand to widen the opening to allow a press fit for the inserts.

Great ProductI liked the way its made nice and heavy ,also the finish is just what I was looking for...

Large Ikebana Flower PotPerfect for any floral arrangement. This little pot enables you to use any container you wish since it holds enough water for your arrangement.

Ikebana KenzansPots are of good quality, however, when using a 1 3/4 inch Forstner bit the pot will not fit in the hole. Hole must be enlarged slightly with rasp and sanding.
