I found that these blanks provide outstanding results. I left a little extra sanding to be done and made sure my chisel was nice and sharp, and i'd recommend that you do that also. The result is a really sharp looking pen. I married these to slimline fancy kits in Blue, Red and Green Enamel and my customers loved them.
