As this was a new pen kit for me, I needed the bushings and extra tubes - just in case. I also wanted the larger bit. This pen needs 2 bits - 10mm - used with Cigar Pens, and the .492 (actually 12.5mm) - this kit has the .492 While I usually make my own trimmer sleeves, the ability to purchase ready-made sleeves (these are metal) is a plus. And of course, the bushings which are necessary to turn the pen to the correct size. Along with two sets of tubes, this is money well spent.
