The kit components were well made and finished. Turning the handle was simple and the two I made looked absolutely stunning with Bethlehem Olivewood and Cocobolo handles. A great gift idea for the coffee lover in your family!!

Was not too hard to assemble. The brass goes well with different types of wood. It is a classy utensil and also very useful. Makes the coffee taste better.

I have made several of these scoops as gifts to friends. Their friends beg me to make one for them, because they take all the guess work out of measuring coffee in any kind of brewer. Plus, they make a quite attractive appliance. I use darker woods, walnut, mesquite, bubinga, etc and the results are GREAT!
