The only thing I found frustrating is putting the ring onto the top piece. It is very hard to do without scratching. Maybe they should come assembled.

Very easy kit to lathe. Nice addition to my selection. Perfect to clip onto a day-timer calendar, briefcase or purse. That way you always have a pen.

I liked the pen kit. Easy to make and looks nice when finished. The only problem I have with it is putting on the end ring for the clip without scratching the gold on the end cap. Other than that its great.
