shot down trouble

I recently made 10 sets of these pen and pencils for an order but Penn State's new vendor decided to press the clip and cap together so tightly that it was impossible to separate them. The tech guys sent me new parts THAT HOUR so I could finish my order and please my customer. I use many alternate clips on these sets - Christian, Crosses, and the Caduceus. Thanks to the tech guys (Mark)!!! I am happy, My customer is happy, and we all made a little $$$!

Problem solved

This is a good pencil, but there was a problem when I inserted the center band, I kept having a gap between the barrel and center band. Knowing of the ridge left by the trimming tool, and having solved that a long time ago, I had this new problem, The fix, use a counter sink on the brass before assembly. Problem solved. Ain't nothing but a thing. All works well, and you have a nice pencil. Good quality, and produces a good product.

The mechanisms are great. However, the rubber grip is very hard to install and the pen must be turned very thin. No directions.

Great Kit!

I've bought similar kits from other companies, but I like this one better. I love the option of using the rubber grip or not. The combined clip/cap is a bit trickier to deal with during assembly, but it's still a great look.

I find that the lead is too thin. Breaks very easily.

Excellent kit

I bought just one kit to try it out and the finished pen looks great! Now I'm definitely going to buy some more.
