These nesting tine sets make it very easy to produce attractive & useful corn holders. I do think the price is unnecessarily high for such a simple assembly. I also think it's curious that they come in packages of five pairs. Packages of eight pairs (for four diners) would seem much more reasonable to me.

Easy to turn but agree that you have to be careful gluing. Otherwise assembly is super easy.

I have not made any for use but I have tied to figure out how to make 2 at a time instead of each 1 at a time. I wish you would come up with a bushing to make 2 at a time to get a better matching set. Waiting!!!!! Chuck PS: I will probably give "5 star" rating when and if this happens.

Loved turning something different. They are very simple to make but you must be very careful gluing to prevent glue getting into docking slots. I made each pair, 10 pair total, out of a different exotic wood. This added considerable extra conversation over their uniqueness during a dinner party. Folks loved them and I have added them to my list of custom turning offerings.

These are great little gifts, especially for people who still have their own teeth.

Easy lathe project was undertaken primarily because I could not find any commercial ones that worked very well. These will do the job. Will probably give some as Christmas presents.

An easy and fun project. After experimenting, I found the size and shape of holder that was comfortable to my hands. Since the two holders nest into each other, there is no chance of accidentally poking myself on them in the drawer.

Made a set of 5 corn cob holders, very nice, good, easy to follow instructions, and then invited man and wife (neighbors to our left) and invited man and wife (neighbors to our right) to come over for dinner which included delicious corn on the cob for everybody. They all showed up. Trouble right away, I had to eat my corn with the help of two dinner forks. Why? I was short one set of holders so I could not enjoy using the very product that I had so much fun making. One of the wives ask "why did they not package in even numbers instead of odd? I said I would go online and ask after I had washed all the melted butter off of my hands. Well? Why odd? Robert

Aces, Aces, Aces....... This is by far the best and easiest item to turn of all items I show at craft shows...and, it blows out the door faster than I make them.
