I love this brass candle stick kit. It shows off a reddish color wood perfectly. The base and cup are sturdy enough to use a really tall candle.

Unbelievable popularity

I made a set of these for my wife, and suddenly everyone who saw them wanted a set. I can not keep up with the demand, the kit is simple to make and looks fantastic once finished, this item and the other finishes are a sure seller.

Excellent weight and finish of brass

I have used different candle stick kits from different places and I have to say that these are by far the best for the price. The bottom is a nice balanced weight and the top cup is perfect. Having a brass cup is great, instead of having a hard turned cup destroyed by hot wax this one is simple to clean. I just pop them into the freezer for a 1/2 hour and the wax falls off.

When using solid wood candle sticks, one of the problems that we run into is having the candle burn down too low and destroy the well-turned cup. These solid brass cups and stands offer a beautiful alternative. They arrive well-packaged, shiny, and ready to install. I have made two sets for gifts, and they were very well appreciated. Simply turn a spindle (I made mine 7" long), tap the centers at each end, and screw in the cap and base. It's that easy. There is even a brass disk to cover the inside bottom of the cup to hide the screw head. These are not cheap-looking, stamped, brass plated metal. They are cast, heavy and well-made. I recommend them to anyone who wants to make a safe-to-use, professional looking, set of candle sticks.
