Substantial, quality product

This pen style is great for people who have larger hands or difficulty gripping a smaller pen. I've sold several for that reason. The mechanism turns smoothly. Assembling the top barrel to the bottom by just pressing them together is nice since it allows you to easily get the grain lined up. The contrasting hardware colors add a nice touch!

Your typical cigar pen hardware was great but the two tone puts this pen over the top. This is a favorite among the varied designs Penn State offers that I make for gifts or offer for sale. Men like the feel when writing with this pen. It just makes a beautiful pen that does not cost a arm and leg to make.

This kit is very easy to make and makes a beautiful pen. The only way this kit could be impoved is by swapping the gold and gunmetal finish with black and gold titanium. All in all it is well made and is a great value for its price.
