This kit produces a product that is expectional is quality and appearance. I used the kit in combination with the Tru Stone Malachite Green 3/4" x 3/4" x 5-1/2" Pen Blank and was astonished with the beautiful results. I have received numerous compliments on the results. If you want a beautiful and high quality writing instrument for yourself, as a gift or to sell this is the one to choose. Because of the complexity of the process I wouldn't recommend this as a "first pen" project.
