The click pen has a smooth, flawless click mechanism - the quality mechanism that you've been asking for. The click pencil has a 2mm lead - sturdy and reliable - a favorite with those who want substance and style and function in a pencil. The pencil features both an eraser and a sharpener in its cap plunger, includes 5 pencil refills. Uses the same bushings as our standard Big Ben pens.

Great pen, smooth click

I call this the click without the click. Such a smooth operation you can barely hear the click mechanism. Looks great and works perfect.

very different but very cool

I was not expecting a click style when I purchased this pen. I am however glad to have the opportunity to build this click pen. yes the click is soft, I'd like to refer to this as a discreet click. Went over very well in the office I work in. Follow the instructions for the order of assembly exactly. Otherwise a very nice pen.

I love this pen. It has replaced the click Gatsby as my always in my pocket at work pen. They sell well too. Very easy to turn and the mechanism is silky.

Nice looking but...

This is a great looking pen. I used diagonal cut Bocote and it looks great. The issue is it took me three kits to make one pen. The click assembly is a very thin, cheap, piece of plastic. Two of them snapped on me. Even the one that is assembled has a very weak click.
