I have made several click pens from Penn State and others. I have found that some do not work smoothly, the click mechanism getting stuck, etc. I really like the quality of this kit; the hardware makes it work more smoothly then other (some more expensive) kits from other suppliers. Everyone seems to love the gel-writing smoothness, compared with ballpoint pens. I have made 4 of these kits so far and just ordered 4 more. Gave two to coworkers and plan to give another to my Mother for Mother's day. A very nice click pen kit. Highly recommended.

I coupled this kit with a nice zebrawood blank and the result really pleased my wife who prefer's gel or rollerball.

I have made many sets of these pens from kits provided by PSI and another supplier. The end product from the PSI kits are consistantly better value/quality. My customers ALWAYS pick the PSI units mainly because of their stylish design and comfortable feel and balance--all achieved without excess bulk. GOOD JOB FOLKS!
