twist mecanism

First time Ive had problem with the twist mechanism. it came apart when I wanted to check the refill. Anybody else have this problem.

Nice low end pen kit

This kit features a nicely styled ball clip and rounded center band, features which are appealing to customers. All parts of kit are of fine quality in fit, function and appearance. Good value for the price. This style rounds out the variety in the line of pens that I sell as a great, lower priced pen.

Great packaging

I really liked the packaging that the pen kits came in. There is a nice card that lets you write what the pen blank is made out of and who made the pen, I also include the date made. When I finish the pen I put it back in the packaging and store it after filling out the card. This way I won't forget the wood of the blank or the date made.

I love these kits, they look extremely nice with Indian Rosewood (In my opinion.) I love the plating especially because it fits great with most anything.

Slimline platinum pen kit

A very impressive pen kit. Excellent quality and finish. Really pops on woods like Purpleheart and Ebony.

Great look and Durability

This pen kit is amazing! It looks great and adds to the feel of a dark wood or a red wood such as Bloodwood or Padauk. Together, it forms a pen that sells almost as soon as you make it. I made 4 in one day, and they ended up selling that night. Great kit for great pens!

Top of the Line

There are some very rare exotic woods in the market place that are only available in small size (1/2 x/1/2 inch square) that require another finish besides gold. I use Rodium kits for my top of the line pens made from Brazilian Rosewood, Snakewood and Bog Oak. The finish on these kits are exquisite and are the most durable of all the kits offered. I have never had a Rodium finish fail. Gold/Satin Slimline pens are my entry level pens which I offer at shows. I can sell 3-4 of the Rodium Slimline pens for every regular Slimline I sell. These kits might seem expensive, but there is something about the look of Rodium and dark, highly figured woods, that nothing else compares.
