I made this kit for my father for his birthday. It turned out nice. However, I was a little disappointed with the plastic ring/face.

I enjoy making this kind of stuff. They are easy to make and I like to carry a pocket watch. However, they may not be as practical to sell or give as gifts as the pen and pencil sets are.
