Superb Press

I had an older, vertical press before I got this and I must say I find using this press much easier to use and with more control. Having the different size blocks and adjustable head lets you use this on a very wide range of project where pressing is needed. Very high quality and durable tool. If you plan on making pens or other kits this should be one of the first things you buy. It makes life so much easier!

a must have

This is a must have tool for making pens. When I started making them I first tried the bar clamp for pressing the parts together like I seen a guy do in a You Tube video. Then I dug out my old gizmo that was supposed to turn your electric hand drill into a drill press. I converted it to a vertical pen press, again like I seen in a video. That worked ok, if you like twisting your neck side ways all the time. It didn't take long to scrap that idea too. This gizmo is the best $40 or so that I've spent in a while and well worth it.

Gotta get this one.

Don't try to do production work without this tool. I am glad to see the new design over the one i have seen in the pen making video.

Pen Assembly Press

You cannot make pens without this valuable tool. The cigar pens are a little difficult because of the stregnth required, but all other kits are the best way to be assembled.

Excellent Tool

When it comes time to assemble any pen, the pen press works extremely well. I have used mine to assemble hundreds of pens I have made.
