I think you set the wrong expectation with the online catalog pictures you use. They make the product look like a precision fitting that was milled out of a block of aircraft aluminum (I exaggerate). In fact, the product is made of tack-welded, rolled galvanized sheet metal. Each piece is out of round and each piece has circumferential measurements that vary from each other. The overlapped sheet metal and the varying fitting diameters provides for a non-trivial air leak. Why would a customer want to design and build an efficient system using long sweep ells, carefully foil tape it, etc., and then top it off with leaking connectors?? I suggest you either drop this product or make some very major changes in manufacturing to get the manufacturing process under control (it's obviously out of control). An ISO9000 quality system should do the trick. On the plus side, your Customer Service is a 10 on a scale of 10; things just can't get any better.
