Awesome Chisels

I've only had these chisels for a short time, but have made over 30 pens/pencils and only had to sharpen the tools once. Excellent chisels for the money.

Very good quality for the price. The edge of one had a small flat spot that needed to be ground out, but after that they have performed well.

The woodturning forums I read seem to agree that Benjamin's Best is the best value in gouges. I am a beginning turner. They are easy to use, the edge is durable, and they sharpen easily. They are easy to control and make a nice smooth cut when sharp.

these are decent quality gouges for the price. They take an edge well, but need frequent resharpening.

Spindle Gouges

I am a beginner turner and was advised by fellow woodturners to buy PSI chisels. So far, they have worked well for me. They are easy to sharpen and hold their edges. I have been extremely satisfied with all my purchases from PSI. I would recommend these tools to anybody. Thanks. Richard P.S.: They told me I would never use the 0.25" gouge. Wrong! It's just what I needed. R

Benjamin's Best to the rescue

For quite awhile I have had only a 1/2 inch Spindle Gouges, so these different sizes really were needed. I enjoy them, they hold a good edge, and let me do the detail work.
