another great find

I am so tickled with this tool. Again I have Crown and Robert Sorby tools but I use this one the most. Had to sharpen it right out of the box but then again you should with any turning tool. I use this to scrape the inside of bowls. outside of bowls, and the curves on the bottom and neck. 12 Bowls later finally sharpened it again. Did not need it just did cause I sharpened the bowl gouge. If used properly this tool will keep sanding to a minimum. It probably the easiest tool I own to sharpen. It fits the hand good. I don't have to use a lot of engery with this tool to accomlish the cuts I need. I have 4 tools next to the lathe on the bench that I use allo the time and will NOT do without, this is one of them. I will buy and use Benjamin's Best tools going into the future due to this tool and the bowl gouge.

Tool looked good, but was not sharp when received and is not easy to sharpen due to shape. After sharpening tool worked great.

Very nice. I bought this and a roughing gouge at the same time and I am very pleased. The scraper holds an edge well and is a delight to use. You end up with a very nice finish that requires a lot less sanding and it is amazing the areas you can get into with hooked nose.
