There could be better assembly instuctions but for all it's worth, it creates the perfect height for comfortable work.

Went together smoothly. Although there is a lack of instructions the exploded view was enough for me to follow. For those having problems the bolts are actually called carriage bolts and must be inserted into a square hole FIRST so make sure the outside piece has square holes. Keep this in mind and you won't have any problems. Taking page one from the exploded view copy the SH & RH onto the second page for the same pieces since it's all you will need to assemble it. The letters stand for Square Hole & Round Hole. The short pieces go on top and the longer pieces go on the bottom. It's that simple.

I have to agree with Ronald Lahti above, in addition the holes are square in some cases and round in others, have you ever tried to put a square peg in a round hole? Well that's a problem here too. All of the bolts are squared right under the head and if you try to put them in the rounded hole, they cannot be tightened correctly. As for the holes being 1/8" out of alignment, I agree totally. So basically, Putting this stand together becomes a test in put the bolts where ever there IS a hole you CAN access. That said, it is a very sturdy table, once it's put together. Suggestions for PSI use QC on this stand before you lose customers over it. Suggestions for everyone else, get a 12 MM socket and driver before attempting to put this together. A ratchet may not work as there is not enough room in some cases to use it. Just a interchangable head screwdriver will do. Yes it comes with a open ended wrench but after five minutes of use, it was rendered worthless because the nuts actually rounded the wrench so it couldn't grip anymore. I gave this item 2 stars because it is a sturdy table after assembly.

Having just received this product and attempting to assemble it, I find I have better luck with Harbor Freight stands. The instructions included are basically worthless and it is a mass of trial and error to put it together. There are four different sized rails to use when assembling for the lathe and extension, the instructions tell you nothing about which ones go where... it's all trial and error. The machining of the bolt holes is very poor and has a 1/8" misalignment across all 8 midrails. I cannot even get the bolts into them to assemble it. After almost 4 hours, I have decided I can build a table faster. The material is heavy and I believe with some proper QC, this could be a nice table, but in it's current form, I cannot recommend it.

This stand is perfect for the midi lathe and extension bed. It is quite sturdy when assembled and can be outfitted with a shelf or small cabinet/drawer for tools, etc. Quite nice, well made, and quick assembly.

A very functional stand for placement into my shop. It is a very basic design that serves the purpose it is intended for....a place for my Midi Lathe to operate from. The size of the platform gives plenty of room for "storing" the essentials of turning...sand papers, lathe turning tools, etc. The only draw back was the lack of instructions on putting together the stand.

Although it takes a little time to assemble (60+ bolts), this is a nice lathe stand. Once assembled it is very sturdy.

This solid heavy duty stand was easy to set up. Perfect length to add extension bed and is easy to build your own storage drawers on it.
