220V Remote ControlI have used this remote for 3 to 4 weeks now. It works really great. I can turn the dust collector on any place in my shop with out any problems. It works every time with out fail. This helps in speeding up my wood projects. I like the little clip on the back of the remote. I can clip it to my shop apron. Although it would be nice if it had a serrated clip. Because sometimes it will fall off my apron depending on what I am doing. Other than that it works great, and it looks great too. Very nice finish.

Step SaverBefore I got this remote control I had to negotiate an obstacle course to reach the switch for my Penn State dust collector. (which works extremely well!) I had thought that the remote was ridiculous in a two car garage workshop but I was wrong. I wouldn't be without it now.

220V Long Ranger Remote Dust Collector Switch & StarterThis is a very good unit, it is the third one I've had. My problem with the other two was tha starter switch would go bad and the models change, so this time I bought an extra starter.

LR220-3The Long Ranger III is excellent. It performs flawlessly over 50 feet from my dust collector,,,through a cement block wall!! I had previously purchased a less expensive remote control and I got what I paid for,,,,something that would not work. Spend the extra few bucks and go for the Long Ranger III right off the bat!!

Excerpts reprinted from WOOD MagazineEditor Test Drive: "My dust collector is really loud, so I don't like to leave it running. That soon became a lazy, messy habit as I found myself not using it often enough unless machining a lot of stock. Now with the Long Ranger remote I use my collector every time I fire up a machine. Turns out, the remote doesn't have to be pointed directly at the wall unit as with my TV remote. It worked consistently from inside the house, through walls, out in the pole barn, and - because I wanted to see just how "long range" it really is - from my driveway 330 feet away. You can buy a second remote ($20) that

A DreamI am so impressed with your relay "long ranger". A number of uses come to mind in the shop. I will be ordering another soon to turn my 3HP air compressor on. The compressor will be moved to the "bag room" thanks to this device and that will get rid of another loud motor. It will also remove the motor from the shop when spraying lacquer. It will also permit me to turn the compressor on from another room on the back of the shop. You should be able to sell a ton of these.
