The smooth grip round blade supplies plenty of pressure is adjusted by loosening or tightening your tailstock. Safety center is a good buy

Have used the Oneway version for several years and needed to replace one that I use for students. Since one can get 2 of Penn States for the price of 1 Oneway this is a no brainer!! Functionally it is the same. I would prefer a 3/4 inch size but that is just a minor negative.

The PSI safety center is a great piece of machinery. It is easy to use and has kept me from making catches that I used to make when using a different center. It also allows me to improve my skill when usng a skew which every turner knows is tough when you first start turning.
