very good qualityWhile they certainly are not cheap (nearly double the cost of the 1.5" bowl mounting pin set), these pins are of very good quality - much better quality than the standard short pins that come with PSI's chucks. They are also much more useful than the short pins. They are the same high quality as the 1.5" set. I use both sets all the time, and I am very happy with them.

Long Jaw PinsA nice addition to my tool set. They fit my mini cole jaws with no problem.

Long Jaw PinsThese work great and allow turning of bowls that have curved sides. Great investment and easy to use. No more broken bowls!

long soft jawExcellent

It's about time! These pins are exactly what I've been looking for. They're extremely well built and sturdy, and don't mar the finish or leave an impression in the wood when tightened up. Well done Penn State!

Even better jumbo jawsI bought dedicated jumbo jaws about 4 months ago and love them for most things, but some of the bowls and larger pieces I make had to be reshaped to hold. With these new jumbo jaws I can finish the bottom of several shaped that I couldn't finish before. I love them.

bandsawmanI TURN BOWLS AND OTHER VESSELS AND TO FINISH THE BOTTOM GOT TO BE A LITTLE TRICKY WITH SOME OF MY TURNINGS. I ALREADY HAD THE JUMBO JAWS AND THESE LONGER PINS ARE A GREAT HELP IN HOLDING ITEMS WITH THIN WALLS OR ODD SHAPE RIMS.

Excellent productWorks like it says. This should have been invented a long time ago!

Long Soft Jaw PinsWow, these new Long Jaw Pins fit the bill in what I was looking for to add to my jaws for holding bowls. Small objects are fine for small pins but mid-size to large items need more holding power. With the new design that the Long Jaw Pins and cap screws have, They are perfect for a full range of holding power. Even for natural edge bowls with some shimming to support the odd shape edges and some light passes. We are always looking for new and better ways of doing things with safety in mind first. These new Long Soft Jaw Pins have fit the bill for me to work with a more secure feeling of safety when pushing the limits of working on the edge of the danger zone.
