When turning bowl stock the 5/8" Super Spur allows me to make a quick change from inital spur drive to a tenon and chuck setup.

Nothing more needs to be said! This drive center works perfectly for what I need to do with my lathe. My headstock spindle has no mt cut into it so I thought I was gonna be outta luck, but with this drive center in my chuck I now have limitless possibilities ! Thank you so much psi!

This center has the advantage of convenience but has some problems too. While it is somewhat like a STEB center, the unidirectional set of the teeth make it a little like a saw if you apply too much tool and it saws a groove into your workpiece. It also can't really be used with the lathe running backward because of the set of the teeth (yes, there are reasons why you need to run the lathe in reverse). Lastly, the screw that holds the floating center in place needs to be something like a NYLOCK screw so it won't keep backing out and get lost along with the center pin.
