1" dia Super Spur Center Insert

We've taken our spring loaded drive center design and adapted it as a quick insert for a lathe chuck. No need to remove your chuck from your lathe when you want to convert to spindle work. Requires Jaws that close to 1/ 4" inside. Compatible with "C" series #2 and #3 Jaws.

This is a time saving device. No need to take your main chuck off and put on a spur center. Just put the spur center in the chuck and your ready to go.

This piece is high quality. I have an indexer on my cnc router and use this drive spur to turn soft woods and foam.

I love that I can just leave my chuck on the lathe to do spindle work. The spring loaded point saves me time by not having to drill a small pilot hole then gently tapping my old point into the wood as not to split it.

The spur drive centers up nicely and provides plenty of grip to turn most work.

I like this super spur. It holds better then a 4 spur drive. I like that it fits inside the B2 chuck. I don't have to take it off when I want to trim the end to fit it in the chuck. I also like that the center is spring loaded.
