2 Prong Split Blade Drive Center

Compatible with #2 MT headstocks. The design of this center compensates for the mounting of irregular surfaces. It will help to mount rough, uneven bowl blanks and simplifies re-surfacing bowl blanks in preparation for faceplate mounting. The center easily positions for the best penetration in grain direction.

Split blade driver was used for bowl turning and worked as expected. My wife used the item and used it for her 1st bowl.

I had been using the drive center that came with my lathe on natural edge bowls between centers. It was a four point center and would not hold well. The two point grip works much better with uneven material. I chisel out a small square from the bark and tap in this drive. It really holds the work. It has allowed me to do more bowl turning between centers.
