I was very pleased with the recent purchase I made for some wood turning tools. You see so many at a wide range of prices, but I gave Penn State a try and I am not disappointed. Thanks for the great tools and great price.

I had been using a $9.95 set of turning tools from HF and had gotten used to resharpening regularly. As in at least once per 2-3 hours. These HS steel tools were good when they arrived and occasional touch up by hand has kept them wonderfully sharp. These were a great deal!

I am a first time wood turner. I have found the chisels easy to use and I expect that I will become more familiar with how to use them in a short time

Well I'm pretty excited,I have my chisels and have touched up the edges on them and have turned and finished four 5" bowls and I can say from exprience that these chisels are certainly worth every penny I paid for them. The handles have a comfortable feel to them and the blades are just the right lenght and after turning these bowls the chisels are stiil sharp. I love'em , they are an excellent investment for me.

I was a little disappointed that when the knives arrived that they weren't sharpened already as I was ready to start turning but I do like the variety of knives in the set.

The edges stay very sharp. The oval skew is much nicer then the flat ones. And I would definitely buy this set again.

I have a few Sorby and other "high end" turning tools. But really, I can't justify the cost when I reach for my Benjamin's Best more often than the rest. The size and heft are perfect for the work I do. These are by far my favorite turning tools.
