The DVD provided information I did not have as a beginner. It provided very understandable directions for the beginner and useful tips on tool usage. I would highly recommend for the beginner.

This DVD is an excellent primer for anyone interested in getting started in bowl turning. Bill shows all the steps from tree to finished product. Practical tips, safety tips, it's here. Throw in humor,good sound quality and a good video viewpoint (you can see what's going on), it's all good.
