THE CALIPER DID WORK GREAT. IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE A SCALE OR RULER MOUNTED AT ONE END SO A DIMENSION COULD BE READ AS TO THE WALL THICKNESS. I AM GOING TO MODIFY ONE AND ADD A MEASURING SCALE TO THE OUTSIDE TONGS

I was pretty happy with these until I noticed that the ends didn't even come close to matching! Thankfully, my husband was able to flex and bend them so the ends are fairly close. I still wouldn't want to use them for very precise measuring, but they are good enough for roughing it.

This is the first Bowl Thickness Caliper I have used. This caliper has allowed my to get more uniform wall thickness than by using my fingers.

Well made caliper. It's very easy to dial in just the right amount of tension to allow it to move as you move it along the piece, yet hold its place after you remove it.
