Drill a 13/16 hole in your blank 2 x 2-1/4 blank, mount on your lathe and turn an egg shape - Then insert the 24kt Gold Plated Eggoscope kit assembly. The kit includes colorful jewel chips and fits into your turned egg to make a great project.

I've never had a problem with these kits. The only problem that may arise is if you cut your blank too short. It really does have to be exactly 2 1/4 ".

Good customer service. All the parts were in the envelope. Easy to assemble. Easy to turn and finish. I made mine out of pecan this time.

I have had a lot of fun doing these. If you follow the instruction you come out with a beautiful gift. I am giving them to my kids for Christmas. I use the color grain wood.
