Dipping Works wellI find that this seals the finished piece to a overall to shine. That should last indefinitely. I use it to seal fishing bait end pen parts.

Dipping for your finishThis is simply amazing! Excellent results with a single coat. Just follow the directions and you too will be amazed. A single coat provides a good solid polished finish, a second coat gives depth to the finish.

high gloss dipping solutionproduct always seems to have a drip on the bottom of the pen blank also doesn't always dry in said time but did have some good results when let dry overnight

Dipping SolutionReally works as advertised. Price is right. Perfect for wine stopper turnings. Puts a good, glossy, durable finish in far less time than wiping or brushing. Much faster drying than wax finishing, or standard polyurethane. Items can be redipped to increase thickness, or to cover minor mistakes, like a small area missed coverage. larger items, such as handles for the cutlery set, assuming they are, say, 5 inches long, can be dipped in a separate container, like an olive jar. Have not tried wiping or brushing. Also, have not kept it long enough to know how sensitive the stored solution is to air contact.

Great productI like the high gloss dipping solution because it is easy to use, dries quickly and leaves a great, glossy finish.

High Gloss Dipping SolutionI like to make pens and wine stoppers along with several other small items and give them to people as gifts. When I first started making them I used the wax finish and that was sufficient for a while. But then I noticed how the pens and stoppers started to fade and dull after a bit of handling. I saw this High Gloss Dipping Solution in PSI's catalogue a decided to give it a try. All I can say is that I am glad I did. The pens, stoppers, and whatever else I use it for dries to a hard, durable, and long lasting beautiful shiny surface. I recommend this for all woodworkers, pros to the hobbiest.

HI-GLOSS PROJECT FINISHI have used this finish for the last several years. In making bottle stoppers, I find it to be a non-replaceable perfect finish. This is a hard very durable finish, that does not wear off, or affected by alcohol. ( that's important with bottle stoppers.) I use it on the stoppers as opposed to finishing on the Lathe. Its usage my me is not limited only to Bottle Stoppers, there are many, many projects I use it for. Far too many for a listing. Friction polishes which you would use on a Lathe, are mostly "Shellac Based". Therefore, you shouldn't use them on bottle stoppers. When the can of finish is new, I dip the stoppers and let the excess drip off, then set them aside to dry. The drying time is not very long, usually about two hours. The advertised thirty minute drying time would work if I used thinner coats. When dipping a bottle stopper, I use a drying board, which allows me to hold the stopper without the finish dripping onto a stopper cone. My customers rave about the resulting finish. I find that this product lasts for a very long time, and only have good things to say about it.
